'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wigan Athletic - The 12th Man - 12/12/13

This weeks Wigan Evening Post 12th Man feature has one contribution from Vital Latics:

The New Manager Ticks All The Boxes

I am very pleased with the new appointment, Uwe Rosler ticks all the right boxes and looks the part as well, what he has accomplished with Brentford, great style of attacking football, competitive at the top end of the division, also suggests that he can walk the walk, as well as talk the talk

A good way to start Rosler's career at the Latics, an away tie in the Europa League where we have absolutely nothing to lose and a home derby against Bolton to come on Sunday whets the appetite, if he can get a win on Sunday then he will be off to a blinder as far as the fans are concerned.

There isn't too much wrong with the team though, a distinct lack of confidence, especially in front of goal, Rosler talks about wanting his teams to be always on the front foot, attacking and creating chances, if he can work on that aspect of our game to some success and get that belief back then I am positive he will be on to a winner

Not too much wrong, just a bit of tinkering needed, a great line from a German DIY movie that I recently watched - 'Ich bin der Klempner, ich bin gekommen, um Ihre Rohre flicken' - get that fixed and we'll be away
