Meet The Ref - Reading v Latics - Gary Sutton




Latics travel to the Madejski Stadium on Saturday to face Reading in a Championship fixture, keeping the peace in this season of good will is Lincoln referee Gary Sutton

Lincolnshire's top official has been on the National List of referees since 2009, he was previously on from 2005-2007, but found himself demoted after just two seasons, Sutton is now back refereeing the professional game and can normally be found in League 1 and League 2 at the weekend

Sutton has refereed just the one Championship game this season, the Ipswich 2 Huddersfield 1 game on 7th December, he issued no cards in the match, this will be the first time Gary Sutton has officiated a Wigan Athletic game
