What The Boss Says - Latics v Crystal Palace

Latics face Premier League Crystal Palace at teh DW Stadium in the 4th round of the FA cup, there has been a full week of training in the build up to the game, unusual this season that there have been no midweek distractions to get in the way of Rosler's preparation.

The Latics boss reports that he has enjoyed training this week and with the 5th round waiting the winners of the tie, there is every incentive to go all out for the win.

Speaking to the Latics official website boss Uwe Rosler said - 'I've enjoyed training this week, our preparations have been very good

'We're looking forward to the game knowing how difficult it`s going to be; Tony Pulis is very good at organising a team, getting players to perform and fight for the cause.

'I'm not surprised that their results have improved since his arrival, but like us he'll also be looking at his team's league game on the Tuesday night and no doubt will want to make a few changes.

'For us, it's an opportunity to progress into the final 16 of the competition we are the holders of, and find a reaction after defeat last weekend against Doncaster Rovers.

'I said to the players after that game that at some point we would suffer defeat, but the manner of the defeat was disappointing and how we bounce back from that will show how far we've come during my time here.

'Once again we reiterate that we are the holders of the FA Cup and are extremely proud to be so. Everyone saw how hard we worked to overcome MK Dons in the third round, and my players will give it a right go on Saturday to win the game once more.'
