Jordi Gomez - Latics Man Of The Match v Forest




Jordi Gomez has been voted the Vital Latics man of the match for his outstanding performance in last Saturdays win away at Nottingham Forest.

The classy midfield man dictated play from midfield and topped off a superb performance with an absolutely stunning goal. Top class Gomez, Latics boss Uwe Rösler summed it up when he said - 'Jordi was our top performer today, he was outstanding.

'His goal was fantastic and the highlight of his performance, but the way he controlled the game and worked so hard was superb.

'He closed down, he won battles, made tackles, supplied passes and then he showed his undoubted footballing quality with his goal at the end.'
