What The Bosses Said - Latics 3 Yeovil 3

Following a game that had a fun packed final eight minutes, six goals and the points shared both managers spoke to the media, let's take a look at what they had to say:

Latics boss Uwe Rösler - 'We feel as though we didn't deserve to win the game'

'We grew into the game in the first half and then after the break we got a goal which I think we deserved.

'The big moment is when Marco works a great chance to make it 2-0, had he scored I think the game would have been over, but it's a good save from their goalkeeper.'

'We didn't have the fresh legs to push Yeovil out and that really showed by the kind of goal we conceded for 3-3.

'We were given a gift to go 3-2 up and normally we would defend very well, but today we were punished at a set piece and we came away with a point.

'Thomas Rogne played his first game back from injury, Nick Powell made his first start since coming back and Ivan Ramis played back-to-back games for the first time in a while.

'We simply didn't have the energy levels at the end.'

'I have a lot of respect for my players and we've had a fantastic winning run, but we all knew that run would come to an end at some point.

'We can't be negative because the run has ended with a draw and we remain unbeaten, they deserve a huge amount of credit.

'We wanted to win tonight, we came into the game thinking it was a must win game, but it wasn't to be and we move onto another game that we have to win at the weekend against Watford.'

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson - 'That's a fantastic point here at Wigan.

'We had a couple of chances earlier and didn't quite get our shots away or beat our man, and I had to make little subtle changes. But we were well in the game and we frustrated a big crowd here at Wigan.

'They never made a sound until around 80 minutes, then all of a sudden they got lively when they went 3-2 up. If they get that lively at the beginning of games, then Wigan would probably go up. But we quietened them down and we frustrated them and we deserved at least a point here.'

'It was unbelievable, because you're up - you're down - you're up - you're down and then you're up at the end.

'Of course we would love to have kept it at 2-1, but players at this level pull out something every now and again when it really matters. Then at 3-2 down, we knew that was going to be the last corner and so we sent Marek (Stech) up. The funny thing was that we spoke in the hotel about how we were going to assess everybody's individual runs for all of our set plays. So Marek came in at the end of the game and said 'gaffer, you wait until you see the video, and you watch my runs!' - from that corner where he's claiming an assist. Luke Ayling is claiming the goal, I think.

'That's the desire that you need your team to have when you're at the bottom, to get that ball in the back of the net. It was great delivery and we must have had six or seven men all throwing themselves at that ball to get it in that net, and I'm very proud of them.'
