Meet The Ref - Latics v Watford - Scott Duncan

What the eck! Watford are in town on Saturday as the Latics look to continue their push to cement a playoff spot come the end of the season, the man charged with ensuring all is fair on the field is Northumbria referee Scott Duncan.

This will be Duncan's second Latics game this season, he was in charge of our trip to the New Den back in December when we lost to Millwall, that day he issued two yellow cards Andy Keogh of Millwall and Latics defender Stephen Crainey, talking of issuing cards, the placid ref hasn't handed any out in his last three games, Sheffield United v Bristol City, Port Vale v Carlisle and last time out, Bolton v Brighton.

This is Scott Duncan's second season as a Football League ref following his promotion to the National List at the start of the 2012/13 season.
