Uwe Rösler - Supporting The Walk4Joseph

Uwe Rösler - Supporting The Walk4Joseph

Latics fans are showing once again that they have the community spirit and getting right behind their adopted charity, Josephs Goal, this Saturday over 500 will walk from the DW Stadium to the Reebok Stadium ahead of the game with local rivals Bolton Wanderers.

Latics boss Uwe Rösler says that the gesture by the fans shows that the club and supporters are very much together as one, a real family unit.

Joseph Kendrick was of course our mascot at the FA cup final last season and he stole the hearts of millions, he is an iconic part of our success that day and it is great to see the fans rally round to support such a great cause.

Speaking to Latics official website Rösler said - 'It's a fantastic gesture that our supporters are walking to Bolton to help support Joseph's Goal and it shows that as a Club we have that family unit.

'It is a very nice touch and it adds to the atmosphere for the game that we all are together as one.'
