Espinoza And Garcia In Honduras World Cup Squad

The Honduras World Cup 2014 squad has been announced and two current Latics players, Roger Espinoza and Juan Carlos Garcia, will be taking their place on the plane for Brazil alongside former Latics men Wilson Palacios and Maynor Figueroa, unfortunately there's no inclusion for Hendry Thomas who now plays in the MLS with FC Dallas.

Honduras warm up for the finals in Brazil with a game against England in Miami on the 7th June, then it is off to Porto Alegre where they begin their tournament against France in group E on the 15th June.

Next up it will be Ecuador before their final game against Switzerland in a tough looking group.

Good luck to Los Catrachos.

Honduras 23 man World Cup squad:

Goalkeepers: Noel Valladares, Donis Escober (both Olimpia), Luis Lopez (Real Espana).

Defenders: Brayan Beckeles (Olimpia), Emilio Izaguirre (Celtic), Juan Carlos Garcia (Wigan), Maynor Figueroa (Hull), Victor Bernardez (San Jose Earthquakes), Osman Chavez (Qingdao Janoon), Juan Pablo Montes (Motagua).

Midfielders: Arnold Peralta (Rangers), Luis Garrido (Olimpia), Roger Espinoza (Wigan), Jorge Claros (Motagua), Wilson Palacios (Stoke), Oscar Garcia (Houston Dynamo), Andy Najar (Anderlecht), Mario Martinez (Real Espana), Marvin Chavez (Colorado Rapids).
