Latics Voted Best Championship Away Day By Fans

The best away day in the Championship according to travelling fans? Well that would be the Latics.

A poll carried out by FSF asked voters to take into consideration prices, food and drink, safety and view of the pitch from their allocated seats, all great factors down at the DW Stadium and one that gave the Latics the edge on their rivals, Reading came in second with Blackburn 3rd.

At the other end of the table Leeds were in last place and QPR second to last.

The top away days in the Championship with teams allocated a mark out of a possible 10:

1. Wigan 7.92
2. Reading 7.54
3. Blackburn 7.37

"I wouldnt be surprised if we recorded the biggest away attendances at the DW in the Championship last season based on our allocation and costs"
