Vital Latics World Cup Prediction Comp Update

Vital Latics World Cup Prediction Comp Update

This world cup continues to thrill and keep all of us who watch on the edge of our seats, even the games in the quarter final stage which have been much lower scoring than the rest of the competition have been just as entertaining. From Germany's 7th minute goal to Costa Rica's penalty shootout miss the four games have been full of drama and goalmouth incident that belies the final scores.

After the bore fest of South Africa and the noise from those stupid horn things, I wasn't really looking forward to this world cup, also I find anything non-Latics much less interesting and harder to watch, well I am so glad I have been wrong it has been the total opposite.

The prediction league has been just as entertaining and has given us something to look at in every game.

The last 16 knockout stage has been just as dramatic and all the four ties went down to the wire, two finished in draws and we have had to use count back to find a winner, sadly JJ_WAFC and iamthewaffle were the ones to exit this way.

Congratulations to Vancouverlatic, Durhamtic, GWigan & Wiganstatman on reaching the semi-finals.

Can I also say well done to Lincswiganfan who has continued his good form and sits alone at the top of the knockout stage league table with 3 games to play, JJ_WAFC is in second and hopefully he can set aside his elimination from the KO comp, despite being the highest scorer at the QF stage, and push for the league title.
