Latics Linked With New Zealand International

The 22 year old appears to be surplus to requirements at the newly promoted Premier League club and Uwe Rösler, along with Wolves boss Kenny Jacket are both being touted as possible suitors for the former West Brom academy player.

With a ratio of a goal every four games at Championship level and 169 league games under his belt, plus 34 international caps, Wood does have good experience for a player of his age and with Rösler looking to had to his attacking options Wood wouldn't be a bad acquisition, though the £2 million asking price could prove to be a stumbling block.
