Stephen Crainey Joins Fleetwood On One Year Deal

Latics left back Stephen Crainey has joined newly promoted League 1 club Fleetwood Town on a one year deal

The 33 year old was brought in to the Latics by former boss Owen Coyle last summer on a year's deal following his release from Championship rivals Blackpool, the former Scotland international played 15 times for the Latics, included in that was a man of the match performance in the FA cup semi final against Arsenal at Wembley.

Crainey endeared himself to the Latics faithful with his never say die attitude and his fist pumping salutes following victories, I'm positive he will be a rip roaring success back on the Fylde coast and send him the best wishes of Vital Latics

Glad he's found a new 'home', he's to good not to be snapped up by someone. I wish him all the best.
