What The Bosses Say - Latics v Blackpool

Latics play Blackpool at the DW Stadium tomorrow (Saturday), as both clubs look for their first win of the season both manages have been speaking to the media about the game ahead.

Let's take a look at what they have to say:

Latics boss Uwe Rösler - 'I've just got all the stats from the Cardiff game and in football terms and in fitness terms we were hitting top numbers'

'Massive improvement on the Reading and Charlton games'

'Having that in my mind I am quite positive going into the next game.

'If we can reproduce same numbers, as in terms of passes and pass completions, then we'll be alright tomorrow'

'It is important now to build confidence and to really build confidence we need to win football games.

'The boys know we are doing a lot of things right now and also that they have the fitness in the tank to go 90 minutes flat out'

Uwe Rösler speaks

Blackpool boss Jose Riga - 'I believe we can get the points this weekend

'When I spoke to the players you didn't see people who are down, everyone believes in what we are trying to do.

'We are focusing so much on my team at the moment, more than our opponents. That doesn't mean we won't go there without the intention of getting a result.

'We won there last season but the story isn't always the same, this is another season, another situation and different players.'
