Jewell Praises Performance

Paul Jewell

I thought we were terrific, I thought the only thing missing from us was a goal. I thought that the first half was the best we played since we've been in the Premiership, I really do!

We were terrific and I would imagine Villa are happier with the point than we are.

David Wright had a tough test on the left hand side against Gabriel Agbonlahor, who is very quick, but I thought David showed good composure and he defended well. We missed Baines with his left foot, but we didn't miss him as much as I thought we would, and that is a big complement to Wrighty.

Skoko has come in and epitomised the way we play, he made clever balls and was an all round threat.
