Wright to Ipswich

Wright will travel to Portman Road to undergo a medical after Paul Jewell said the former Crewe defender was allowed to leave.

A deal is likely to be completed in the coming days as Ipswich boss Jim Magilton looks to strengthen his squad with quality during the January transfer window.

Wright played for Town's local rivals Norwich during a loan spell in 2005 but is now poised to move to Portman Road.
