WIgan in for Nigerian ace.

Wigan appear to have completed the sign Nigerian wonderkid Chinedu Ogbuke. Lyn Oslo have agreed to let starlet Ogbuke join the Latics.

Many clubs have shown serious interest in the young striker including Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona.

Known in Norway as Edu, saw a move to Lokomotiv Moscow fall through last month, and the 20-year-old is set for a move to the JJB.

Lyn Oslo are prepared to allow Ogbuke leave but are hoping to evade a transfer wrangle after after the John Obi Mikel saga last season, which eventually saw the midfielder move to Chelsea.

Lyn are allowing Ogbuke's agent John Shittu finalise the deal. Lyn Oslo have agreed to let Ogbuke go on a short loan to Wigan - with a view to a permenant deal in the future.
