12 Points For Wigan To Play For (14/4/17)

12 Points For Wigan To Play For (14/4/17)

Wigan Athletic have only 12 points left to play for in this year's battle in the Championship.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Wigan Athletic find themselves heading towards the end of May, four matches mean a maximum return of 12 more points for the year of 2016/17.

Sitting in 22nd place in the relegation spots in the Championship on 40 points, we are four points from Bristol City and safety as we now sit level with Blackburn Rovers (they hold a game in hand) following Friday's victory over Barnsley.

Survival this year is still doable with points to spare but our now back to back victories has to be the start of a winning streak and that won't be easy with Brighton up next on Monday.

Two wins on the spin have returned hope though.
