Wigan Athletic v Liverpool, pre-season friendly.
7:30pm, Friday 14 July 2017

Latics

Manager Paul Cook will be without a number of his first team, with Massey, Daniels, Dunkley, Powell, MacDonald, Kellett and Grigg sitting out this contest. Sam Morsy, who has only this week returned from international duty, will also remain on the sidelines.

Lineup: Walton, N. Byrne, Morgan (C), Burn, James, Power, Flores, Colclough, Gilbey, Jacobs, Bogle

Subs: Evans, Perkins, Massey, Woolery, Thomas, Burke, Barrigan, Gregory, Stubbs, Burgess, Merrie, Laurent.

Liverpool

Much like in their previous pre-season friendly against Tranmere, Liverpool will play a different team of 11 in each half.

New £37million signing Mo Salah will make his debut having received his work visa. This didn't go through in time for him to face Tranmere on Wednesday, but he'll start for the Reds at the DW Stadium tonight.

First half lineup: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Klavan, Flanagan, Henderson, Lallana, Woodburn, Salah, Coutinho, Firmino.

Second half lineup: Karius, Gomez, Stewart, Lovren, Milner, Wijnaldum, Grujic, Chirivella, Solanke, Sturridge, Origi

Extra subs: Grabara, Kent.
