Blackpool Away Tickets Now On Sale

Blackpool Away Tickets Now On Sale

Tickets are now on sale to Season Ticket holders for Wigan Athletic`s Checkatrade Trophy group match against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road (Tue 29 Aug, 7pm kick-off).

Adult tickets are priced at £8, with Over 60s costing £5 and Under 19s just £2.

General Sale begins on Friday 11 August with a large travelling contingent expected to head over to the Fylde Coast, despite some fans calling for a boycott of all Checkatrade fixtures.

This will be Latics` first of three matches in Group B before they face Middlesbrough Under 23s in October and Accrington Stanley in November - both at the DW Stadium.

As group favourites, Paul Cook`s side will be looking to bag their third successive win at Bloomfield Road against the side they defeated in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.

Cook is expected to make changes from his League One team who play against Portsmouth just three days prior, however competition rules mean he must start at least five 'First Team` players or risk the club receiving a financial penalty of between £5,000-£15,000.

Portsmouth were fined £15,000 under the management of Cook last season for fielding a weakened team.
