'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wigan`s Fate In Their Own Hands

The Jeweller`s come out and said it again

'Our fate is in our own hands`, he told the official site 'we know what we`ve got to do and we`ll train all week with one thing in mind, victory.

So that`s why we`ve been losing lately, we`ve not been training to win!

Jewell went on to say that with the backing of a large following the team will be inspired and the players know exactly what to do.

Do you feel that the Latics can pull off a great escape or are we falling faster than a lead ballon?

I'll be hoping you win, but also hoping that the Hammered are beaten. I have nothing against their fans and will feel for them but in view of what has, or more to the points hasn't happened to them I feel they should go down. The League table doesn't lie and Wigan are down in the bottom three because they should be. Having said that you've not been in the bottom three at all since this past weekend have you! GOOD LUCK.

Cheers Hughsie, here's hoping

This is a massive game for you guys, so good luck. It's a shame that your chairman is not as focused on the game as he should be, he's not stopped moaning about West Ham and Tevez all week. West Ham are away at Man United and are likley to lose. so it is in your hands. The Tevez affair is in the past and the decision is final, so Mr Whelan, for the sake of your own club and fans. Leave it go. It looks to the public like your running scared. Thats not installing much confidence.

We are running scared g4nty and desperate, but I agree that at times Whelan makes us look a bit of a joke
