It All Comes Down To This

It All Comes Down To This

Forget Tevez, West Ham, dodgy ref decisions, injuries, suspensions and hard luck stories.

The reason that we have slipped into the bottom three is that we`ve simply not been good enough.

Tomorrow`s game at Bramall Lane is Sunday show down, last chance saloon and the Alamo all rolled into one.

A must win games for both sides.

Forget conspiracy theories, Sheffield United cannot afford to lose this game, if they do and West Ham manages to get a point at Old Trafford then it will be the Blades going down.

For the Latics part there is only one scenario that will do. They must win the match.

This is a cup final with a glittering prize; there will be tears come the final whistle, joy for one team despair for the other.

Wigan go into the game with Chris Kirkland and Fitz Hall definitely ruled out and Arry DeZeeuw and Leighton Baines both doubtful.

What ever side Jewell puts out they have to do the business.

Let`s hope he doesn`t start changing the formation and tactics; he`s done that this season and confused the players.

Play the way we know 4-4-2 and let`s get amongst them.

Warnock`s sides always play in your face football, we have got to match them, or we will be rolled over.

Come 5 o`clock tomorrow evening let`s hope that we can reflect back on a truly spirited and gutsy performance from the Latics and that this performance has brought us the victory that we so badly need.
