Wigan Wait on Three

It is understood that the Latics have made offers to three out of contract players.

Andreas Granqvist has been offered a two year deal at the JJB and both Matt Jackson and Josip Skoko one year contracts.

Manager Chris Hutchings will want answers from the players soon as he builds for next season.

Hutchings as been quick to act in the transfer market having a bid of £3 million for Matthew Etherington turned down by West Ham and getting Lee Carsley over from Everton on a free.

With £20 million burning a hole in his pocket expect a lot more activity over the coming few weeks.

Who should be Latics targets in the transfer market?

Would have liked Arry to get a year deal, I know he is 38 and well passed his best and I know he's been injured most of the season, but just having him around the place seems to lift others and he is a good spokesman for the club.

not seen enough of granqvist to have an opinion to be honest, i know he is highly rated though, skoko i agree is not good enough, i think jackson is being lined up for some sort of coaching role
