Wigan Set To Sign Titus Bramble

Wigan Set To Sign Titus Bramble

There is strong speculation that Titus Malachi Bramble, will sign for the Latics in the next few days.

Sources say that they are hopeful the 25 year old will put pen to paper on a three year deal.

Bramble started his career with Ipswich Town and played Premiership football at the age of 19.

He was sold to Newcastle United in July 2002 for a fee of £5 million and went on to make 105 appearances for the Geordies, scoring three times.

Bramble is one of a number of Newcastle players released by newly appointed manager Sam Allardyce.

Bramble can be at times an erratic defender, but there are no doubts that the player has pace, strength and talent.

At 25 maybe his best years are yet to come.

With the prospect of the Latics also signing Antoine Sibierski we could be in line for the Geordie cast-offs.

Would Bramble be a good signing for the Latics?
