Double Shock At Wigan

Wigan Athletic have officially announced the signing of Antoine Sibierski as reported on Vital Wigan not ten minutes ago.

Antoine signed a two year contract at the JJB following his refusal of a new contract at previous club Newcastle.

Sibierski returns to the North West having previously spent three years at Manchester City.

Sibierski will be remembered by Latics fans for his 'dive` that earned Newcastle a penalty at the JJB last season.

The 32 year old, previously with French clubs Auxerre, Nantes and Lille, has 118 Premiership games under his belt and joins his former Newcastle United team mate Titus Bramble at the Latics
