Henri Camara To Portsmouth?

The latest transfer rumour emerging out of Terminal 1 at the JJB is a departure rather than an arrival

It`s rumoured that Harry Redknapp is ready to place a bid of around 3 million for the Latics Senegalese striker Henri Camara.

Although it would be possible to imagine Pompey biding for Lil` Henri, Redknapp is a long term admirer of him, it is difficult to see Camara signing for the south coast club.

He`s made it clear that he wants a move to France to be near his Paris based family.

3 million would be a good price for the diminutive striker considering he will be missing for up to 6 weeks with his involvement in the African Nations Cup in January and February next year.

What ever the situation with Camara, with Chris Hutchings is set to be targeting a new forward to bring to the club, are we likely to see the return of Nathan 'Duke` Ellington?
