Henri Camara To Portsmouth?

Henri Camara To Portsmouth?

The latest transfer rumour emerging out of Terminal 1 at the JJB is a departure rather than an arrival

It`s rumoured that Harry Redknapp is ready to place a bid of around £3 million for the Latics Senegalese striker Henri Camara.

Although it would be possible to imagine Pompey biding for Lil` Henri, Redknapp is a long term admirer of him, it is difficult to see Camara signing for the south coast club.

He`s made it clear that he wants a move to France to be near his Paris based family.

£3 million would be a good price for the diminutive striker considering he will be missing for up to 6 weeks with his involvement in the African Nations Cup in January and February next year.

What ever the situation with Camara, with Chris Hutchings is set to be targeting a new forward to bring to the club, are we likely to see the return of Nathan 'Duke` Ellington?

Report - Latics 0 Forest 0 - What A Shocker

Thirteen games to save our Championship status, first up a home game against Nottingham Forest who are on a shocking run of form, conceded 10 goals in their last three matches, three of their first choice defenders missing through injury, they had lost 11 of their 16 away games this season with a -16 goal difference on the road and sat just six points above us in the table, surely a game that we would set out to win.

Checking the team selection I felt slightly optimistic but slightly conf
