Wigan - Melchiot Deal Stalls

Mario Melchiot is in danger of seeing his move to the Latics collapse due to his contract demands.

Sources suggest that Melchiot wants a three year deal and that the Latics are not prepared to offer a contract of this length to the 30 year old defender.

With other targets in mind and acting like a man on a mission, manager Chris Hutchings may leave this one alone and look elsewhere.
