Wigan's Johansson set to leave

Wigan's Johansson set to leave

Andreas Johansson the 'forgotten man` at Wigan Athletic is due to leave the club at the end of the month when his contract expires.

Crazy AJ, as he is known to a few, as been at the Latics since January 2005, having joined the club from Swedish side Djurgaardens for £450,000.

With 12 caps for his country much was expected of the attacking midfielder when he arrived, but sadly he failed to live up to his promise making only 10 league starts for the Latics and 19 substitute appearances.

However he scored 4 goals including 2 at White Hart Lane last season to earn us a 2-2 draw and also last season a goal at the Reebok in our victory over Bolton Wanderers.

Where ever you end up AJ you will always be a Latics mon and go with our best wishes

Good luck in your future career.

Should Johansson have been given another contract or was Hutch right to let him go?

Didnt get to see enough of him in his time at the JJB to make a honest opinion, but not my favourite player by any stretch of the imagination, but those of you who got the chance to see his girlfriend...my god she is a stunner!

Are all the Wiganers gone now? Good, because I fear today is the day I am finally forced out of this town on a one-toothed mule named Yanic. Here goes:
