Pollitt extends his stay at Wigan

Mike Pollitt today signed a new one year deal to stay at the Latics.

The 35 year old goalkeeper who signed from Rotherham United in 2005 told the official site that he was delighted to put pen to paper on the new deal.

Pollitt is one of those steady keepers that all clubs love to have around and with Kirkland`s injury problems there will be a chance that Big Mike will see some Premiership action again this coming season.

Are you pleased Pollitts here for another season?
