Wigan Link to Locomotiv Moscow Star
The Latics are rumoured to have entered the race to sign Birmingham target Garry O`Connor who is currently playing for Locomotiv Moscow
The 24 year old Edinburgh born Scotland international striker began his career at Hibs where he made 136 appearances scoring 44 times in six seasons
O`Connor moved to Locomotiv for £1.6 million in January 2006 and he`s scored 10 goals in 38 appearances for the Russian club.
Family problems have made it difficult for O`Connor to settle in Moscow and he is looking for a return to Britain
Birmingham City and West Ham are reported along with the Latics to be considering making a bid of £2.5 million to bring him to the Premiership.
