'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wigan Star Chased by Feyenoord

Denny Landzaat is reported to be attracting the attention of Dutch side Feyenoord according to Sky Sports.

Landzaat, who signed for the Latics last summer in a deal worth £2.5 million, is yet to show his best form consistently at the JJB.

The Holland international made a slow start to life as a Premiership footballer and only began to show anything of his potential in the second part of the season.

The problem being that the Latics at the time were by passing midfield and using route one football

A tactic that Landzaat criticised in the press and was promptly dropped to the bench by former manager Paul Jewell.

There is no doubting that Denny has the talents and attributes to be successful in the English game

This coming season was to be the one where he hopefully fulfilled his potential and made the Wigan midfield his own.

Feyenoord coach Bert van Marwijk is a fan of Landzaat`s and would love to take him home to the Netherlands.

The Dutch club are re-building following a disappointing season and are linked with many current Holland internationals.

Personally I hope that we keep Landzaat at the JJB and build the midfield around him
