Wigan Reject Rangers Bid

Wigan Reject Rangers Bid

Reports coming out of the Latics suggest that the club have knocked back another bid of around £1.5 million for Lee McCulloch

Super Lee appears to be a player that Rangers are desperate to get, but they must pay the going rate to secure one of Latics most consistent players over the past few seasons.

McCulloch made it clear in January that he wants a move back home to Scotland and he would love to sign for his boyhood idols the Gers.

It will be a sad day when the Scotland international leaves the Latics

He typifies what the club have been about over the past 6 years and he is a firm fans favourite.

Rangers know what they will get with Lee, an honest, hard working player who will put his body on the line for the cause, but they most pay the going rate, which is a lot more than £1.5 million.

What price would you put on McCulloch?

Surely in todays market Lee is worth double what Rangers have offered. I would put a figure of at least £3 million on him

Todays market? Henry went to Barca for 16 Mill... Anyway, we don't need him if we've got Beasley and Adam.

I would put a figure of at least £3 million on him --- I thought the english were sensible but seriously, hes approaching 30, getting more and more injury prone after each season. You should be greatful we are even looking at him because nobody else is. You should take any money you get and run, anything else is just being held to ransom. You see when you look at the "English Market", Is he being sold to another English club... no, hes going to a club in a different country so wouldnt be competition or any of that patter. We can even offer him european football, something wigan never will be able to do.

we are better than celtic. considering we had a better record against them this season and the other top 5 clubs. add that to the fact we have won more trophies than any other clubs in the world...
