Liverpool ace in Wigan Transfer?

There are reports that Liverpool star Boudewijn Zenden is in talks with the Latics.

The former Chelsea and Barcelona man has been targeted by Hutchings as a replacement for Rangers bound Lee McCulloch.

Zenden started his career with PSV Eindhoven before moving on to Barcelona, Chelsea and Middlesbrough.

The Holland international played in last season`s European Champions League final for Liverpool against Milan

The 30 year old, who is available on a free, could be joining the JJB set up following talks with the Latics management team and would bring some real quality and experience to the club

He would be seen as a great signing and would be a fitting replacement for Lee McCulloch

Is Zenden the man to replace McCulloch?
