Wigan talk as Koumas bid accepted

Wigan talk as Koumas bid accepted

It appears that West Brom have accepted Latics latest bid for their midfield ace Jason Koumas

Sources suggest that Koumas is discussing personal terms with the club with a view to a switch from the Hawthorns to the JJB.

With other clubs interested, Aston Vila, Fulham and Everton, Koumas will have plenty to think about over the next few days, but it appears that only the Latics have met West Brom`s valuation of the Wales international

These are indeed exciting times at Wigan, with players of real quality being targeted and some already signed, scotching former manager Paul Jewell`s claim of the little Wigan tag being a stumbling block

Maybe the fact that the Latics are entering their third season as a Premiership club is proof enough that they mean business

Koumas to Wigan, good signing?

The fee acceptance might spark other interested parties to agree a fee with West Brom, we'll just have to wait and see who he chooses before we have a chance to gloat

You won't gloat when you're tearing your hair out at him. Very talented feet, brilliant in fact. Thick as a brick.
