David Thompson Signs

As predicted earlier, Wigan Athletic have signed Blackburn Rovers’ midfielder David Thompson until the end of the season on a short term contract. He has joined in time to be in the squad against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Thompson is 28 years-old and has scored 1 goal in 8 appearances for Blackburn this season. He is cup-tied for both the FA and League Cups.
