A team of Latics past players will take part in the North West Masters tournament tonight (Saturday) at the Manchester MEN Arena
The Latics team for the event is:
Simon Farnworth
John Doolan
Peter Atherton
Colin Greenall
Dave McKearney
Neil Redfearn
David Lowe
Andy Lyons
Neil Rimmer
They will compete in the round robin tournament against sides representing Bolton Wanderers, Manchester City and Manchester United
The Bolton side includes former Latics favourites Tony Kelly, David Lee and Scott Green.
Whilst the Manchester City team will include former Latics stars Wayne Biggins and Peter Beagrie
Admission to the event costs £14 and £8 (concessions), it is also being broadcast live on Sky Sports Xtra at 7-30 pm this evening.
Let`s hope that the Latics put up a good show of themselves with this being their first venture in what is fast becoming a very popular tournament.
