Skoko stays at Wigan

Australian midfielder Josip Skoko as signed his new contract and will remain with the Latics for one more year.

Hutch said he was delighted that the Aussie as agreed to stay

Hutchings told the club's official website. 'I think Skokes proved himself to be a really valuable member of the team last season,'

Competition is needed in midfield and it`s an area where we have been a little lightweight since Jimmy Bullard left

Although Skoko wont set the world on fire he will make a good squad member

Do you think that Skoko should have been offered a new deal?
