West Ham and Wigan Do Harewood Deal
The Guardian have reported that the Latics will make an offer of £3.2 million for West Ham striker Marlon Harewood
The paper suggests that Harewood will become a Latics player and that the deal is already agreed.
If true Harewood would form a powerful strike force along side Emile Heskey
The 27 year London born player began his career at Nottingham Forest where he was a product of Forest`s youth system.
He made 181 appearances for Forest scoring 51 goals before his £500,000 move to West Ham in November 2003
Harewood finished West Hams top scorer in his first full season with the club netting 23 goals in all competitions
In West Hams first season in the Premiership he scored 14 league goals as the Hammers enjoyed a successful season.
West Ham and Harewood both struggled last season and he was told that he could leave this summer by manager Alan Curbishley
If the Latics do sign Harewood one good thing about the move will be stopping him scoring against us at the JJB, something he always seems to do
Is Marlon Harewood the type of forward we should be chasing?
