McCulloch Gone To Rangers

Wigan Athletic official website has confirmed that Lee McCulloch's transfer to Rangers is now official

The 29 year old Scotland international signed tonight for his boyhood hero's

McCulloch made 224 league appearances for the Latics and earned eleven international caps whilst at the JJB

Latics manager, Chris Hutchings, told the official web site that Lee had said his goodbyes to everyone at the club and that it would be strange not to have the likeable Scot around the training ground.

Great player, great guy. Will be sadly missed. Worth far more than 2.5million. Hope you can come back on a home match day to say farewell, Lee. Good luck in Scotland. Super, super Lee, super Lee McCulloch.

Good business it has to be said, 2.25 million for someone who is unproven at so many levels. Good job Wigan!
