Harewood to join Latics in Holland

With reports suggesting that West Ham striker Marlon Harewood has completed his medical at the JJB yesterday (Friday) it seems likely that the former Nottingham Forest player will join the Latics at their pre-season training camp in Holland

If or more likely when Harewood is unveiled officially he will be manager Chris Hutchings seventh summer signing so far

The Hutch has been extremely busy in the transfer market since he took the hot seat at the JJB and he appears determined to put his mark on the club

Most Latics fans are very positive about the activities around the club this summer and it makes a change from silence and last minute panic buying of previous years

Harewood will bring more power and pace to the Latics front line which already boasts the powerful Emile Heskey.

What we, the fans are hoping for is that Harewood will bring goals as well.

What do you think of the signings so far?

I hope that Harewood can recapture his goal scoring touch of previous seasons and that last year was just a blip
