Wigan Johansson off to Helsingborgs

Reports today suggest that Latics squad man Andreas Johansson will be allowed to leave

There could be a cut price deal with Swedish club Helsingborgs waiting to take him

The Sweden international has not had the best of times in his 3 years at the Latics

Signed in January 2004 for £500,000 from Swedish side Djurgårdens, he failed to live up to expectations

He has made only 29 appearances for the Latics scoring 4 goals

He will be remembered for being the last player sent off at Highbury when he punched his fellow Swede Freddy Ljungberg

Johansson had only been on the pitch 20 seconds and hadn`t touched the ball when the incident occurred

The Swedish game may be more suited to Johansson`s style, he scored 45 league goals for Djurgårdens in 124 appearances

I`ll remember crazy AJ for the player he could have been , but, never was.

Undoubted technical ability not much application

Do you think Johansson`s been given a fair chance at the Latics?

Time's come for the Swede to move on. Never did rate him, always looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights
