A Strange Day at Wigan Athletic

Today we were supposed to be celebrating two new signings, Marlon Harewood from West Ham and Michael Brown from Fulham.

Marlon Harewood appears to have been kidnapped some where along the M6 near Birmingham

Apparently whilst travelling up to Wigan to sign on the dotted line in steps Martin O`Neil with an offer to go and play for Aston Villa

Now I`ve seen this before, deja vous or what!

Jason Roberts and Portsmouth three years ago and Andy Johnson and Everton just last year, too familiar to be a coincidence

Never the less if Marlon wants to go and sit on the bench at Villa Park then that`s up to him.

Where is Michael Brown?

Reliable contacts inform me that he should have been undergoing a medical today and discussing terms on a £3 million move to the JJB.

Then Lawrie Sanchez holds a press conference down at Fulham and states that Michael Brown is his captain unless anyone can tell him different.

Maybe Brown likes life down on the Thames rather than swapping for the Dougie or the Leeds/Liverpool

Andreas Johansson, crazy AJ, reportedly left the club, but no word on the official site, just lots of press releases from differing sources

Where is AJ?

One report says he is in Sweden talking to Helsingborgs

Another says he`s flown to Denmark to talk to Aalborg, one thing is for sure he isn`t in Holland with the rest of the squad

Tonight I am confused; maybe tomorrow will bring some answers
