Harewood Signs for Villa

Reports coming out of the Midlands suggest that Marlon Harewood has now signed for Aston Villa ending Latics interest in the player

He is reported to have signed a three year deal that will see him join former West Ham team mate Nigel Reo-Coker at Villa Park

Harewood revealed that he was extremely impressed with Wigan, manager Chris Hutchings and General manager John Benson and that they had impressive plans for the club.

Harewood said that it was the lure of working with Martin O`Neil that swayed him to sign for Villa and that he had spoken top Chris Hutchings personally to tell him of his decision.

Is Harewood one that got away or did we have a lucky escape?
