Koumas Wigan is a great move for me

Koumas Wigan is a great move for me

Jason Koumas last night declared that he has made a great move for himself by coming to the Latics and that he cant wait for the season to begin

The former West Brom and Tranmere star said that he was impressed with the way he 'clicked` with the rest of the team and that he thought this would only improve making Wigan Athletic a formidable team.

Koumas told the clubs official web site that Latics manager Chris Hutchings had told him to get forward when possible and JK said that this suited his game down to the ground.

How good will Koumas prove to be? A bargain or a lead weight?

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
