Wigan`s best ever strikers

In our recent poll we asked you who formed the best strike partnership down the years at the Latics and the result was a walk over for Jason Roberts and Nathan 'Duke` Ellington

They came in with 65% of the vote

The second place went to Lancashire and Jones - the two Graeme`s - with 11% of the votes cast

It`s hardly surprising that Roberts and Ellington came out on top

They had a massive impact on the rise of the club and their goals gave the Latics their Premiership status

There are many to choose from and there have been many characters between the sticks at both the JJB and Springfield Park down the years
