Ziegler on Loan

Wigan Athletic have signed Tottenham Hotspur's 20-year-old Swiss midfielder Reto Ziegler on loan until the end of the season.

The left-sided midfielder had been on loan with SV Hamburg but was recalled by Spurs.

He will be eligible for both the Carling Cup match with Arsenal tomorrow and the FA Cup match with Manchester City at the weekend, but he won't be able to play against Spurs in February.
