Wigan Receive Offer for Kilbane

Wigan Receive Offer for Kilbane

Kevin Kilbane is reported to be the subject of a £1.5 million bid from Sheffield United boss Bryan Robson

Kilbane, who joined the Latics from Everton for £2.5 million last season, has never won the fans over at the JJB even though he played in 33 games and scored 1 goal

Kilbane`s only goal came in the 3-3 draw at the JJB against Spurs when he put the Latics in front with a thundering header

Most Latics fans wouldn`t be sad to see the 30 year old Ireland international and he might find his chances of regular football limited with Chris Hutchings signing midfield players like they are going out of fashion

Good price for Kilbane £1.5 million?

I don't agree. The squad is not big enough to ship anybody out and he may play better in a better, more attacking side. Looks like he's the new hate figure.

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
