Robinson deal back on

According to the Birmingham Mail Wigan Athletic are once again trying to sign West Brom left back Paul Robinson

Robinson was due to sign for the Latics last Tuesday but he failed his medical at the JJB with a condition that he was born with

Before the Wigan medical Robinson failed one at Sunderland as the Black Cats were hoping to sign him

The Latics are understood to want to renegotiate the transfer fee and make the deal a more appearance based fee with the concerns over Robinson`s long term playing career

Whether this can be sorted by Friday thus allowing Robinson to play in Latics opening game of the season at Everton remains to be seen although Robinson himself is desperately keen to become a Wigan player
