Ziegler may stay

Wigan Athletic's loan signing from Tottenham Hotspur, Swiss left-winger Reto Ziegler, may stay on next year.

His contract expires at the end of the season so he could sign on a permanent contract for nothing.

Ziegler made his Latics debut in the semi-final 2nd leg Carling Cup game against Arsenal.

Not sure where you got this duff info from! Ziegler is a long term prospect at Spurs and is furthering his premiership experience at Wigan. Good Luck in beating the Scum in the cup final by the way!

This story has been reported by a number of sites now so I haven't made it up.. He will be a free agent at the end of the season, and could sign a pre-contract agreement at any time. If Spurs wanted him to stay they would have signed him upfor a longer contract by now. We'll see how he does.

From what I've seen he will be a good long-term signing for the Tics.
