Ziegler may stay
Wigan Athletic's loan signing from Tottenham Hotspur, Swiss left-winger Reto Ziegler, may stay on next year.
His contract expires at the end of the season so he could sign on a permanent contract for nothing.
Ziegler made his Latics debut in the semi-final 2nd leg Carling Cup game against Arsenal.

Not sure where you got this duff info from! Ziegler is a long term prospect at Spurs and is furthering his premiership experience at Wigan.

This story has been reported by a number of sites now so I haven't made it up..
He will be a free agent at the end of the season, and could sign a pre-contract agreement at any time. If Spurs wanted him to stay they would have signed him upfor a longer contract by now. We'll see how he does.
