Landzaat called up to Dutch squad

Wigan Athletic midfielder Denny Landzaat has been called up to the Holland squad for their friendly on Wednesday against Switzerland

Landzaat is recalled to replace Ibrahim Afellay who was injured at the weekend and joins team-mate Mario Melchiot on the plane to Geneva.

Landzaat`s form this season has been awesome and he crowned a superb midfield display on Saturday with a goal from the penalty spot in the 3-0 win over Sunderland

Meanwhile Jason Koumas is out of Wales` friendly in midweek because of a virus making him feel unwell but he is expected to be fit for next Saturday`s game against West Ham at Upton Park

Do you feel Landzaat`s form this season is an improvement on last season?

Great start to the season from Landzaat, much better than what he showed last season, mind you must of the balls last season went right over his head
