Wigan Athletic forward Caleb Folan is rumoured to be on his way out of the club this week with Carling Cup opponents Hull City a possible destination for the former Chesterfield and Leeds United front man.

KCFM revealed that Hull manager Phil Brown confirmed that he has made a bid for Folan thought to be around the £1 million mark

Folan only joined Latics on 26th January 2007, he made his debut at Reading 4 days later and scored his first Premiership goal at Watford on the 21st February in a 1-1 draw

The 24 year old grabbed the winner against Manchester City at Eastlands in March and it looked as though we had found a good young prospect

Folan has started just one game this season, the opener at Goodison against Everton and he was taken off shortly after half time.

It looks as though his chances are limited at the JJB and he will need to go else where to get first team football

It will be interesting to see if Folan is included in the team for tomorrow nights game against Hull.

It looks as though Dave Whelan is once again playing Okey Cokey with the Latics squad as potential signings look like coming in Folan and Kilbane are rumoured to be on their way out

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
